Our Panels

Our reed panels are made in standard 6x6ft, 6x5ft, 6x4ft, 6x3ft or metric equivalent if required. Also we make any size or shape panel to customers requirements. Even if it’s a different height or length, has to have an access hole or sloping panel, Barton reed always does its best to help you achieve what you are looking for. Panels are normally fitted using 100mm wooden posts, but can be especially made to slot in standard concrete posts.

All panels are constructed using sustainable FSC pressure treated timber. Battens used in construction are 2×1, 3×1 and a robust 6inch gravel board which is incorporated into the panel.Two way weathered caps are fitted to the tops.

Selected Norfolk reeds harvested from local reedbeds are used in our panels. The reed is triple woven into frame finishing with an even one inch thickness of tightly compacted reed throughout . Sherradised annular ring shank nails and quality screws are used in the make up. No nail Guns used,these are truly hand made panels. The final product is a well built very sturdy panel of which we are very pleased.

Reed Fencing screens can be built to any size to hide any unsightly objects such as wheelie bins, oil tanks or just to screen off an unsightly area.
Reeded gates are also made to fit into your fencing projects if required. Gates are constructed using bigger timbers throughout,and can be made to go in any fence height .
